Accessibility
Wherever possible the APS Commission aims to make its services and products available to all APS staff.
Website information
The Commission website is set to meet the accessibility requirements of the Government Online Strategy.
In most cases documents supplied in PDF format are also provided in HTML. The latest version of the Acrobat Reader is compatable with text readers. This can be dowloaded from the Adobe website. We recommend that APS staff should consult with their IT staff before downloading to ensure compatibility with the organisations operating systems and operational guidelines.
Some documents like the Australian Public Service Statistical Bulletin contain large tables which may be difficult to access non-visually. Specific enquiries may be directed to the Commission employment policy adviceline on (02) 6202 3859.
If you have difficulty accessing any page please contact the Commission employment policy adviceline on (02) 6202 3859 or the Commission Internet Manager on (02) 6202 3557.
Suggestions on ways that website access could be improved should be directed to the Commission Internet Manager on (02) 6202 3557.
Text resizing
Most of the text on this site can be resized using your browser.
In Internet Explorer go to View in your menu and look for Text Size. Choose the size that is most appropriate to your need.
In Firefox go to View in your menu and look for Zoom. Zoom in or out to the size that is most appropriate to your need.
While we have tried to ensure that resizing the text will work satisfactorily, there may be some changes on those pages that have tables.
